But there are also some fun activities to do before Mama takes the good stuff for herself.
1. sort the candy by shape, color, size.
2. count the treats or put them in groups of five or ten
3. line up the different treats to see who can make the longest line.
4. Find certain letters.
5. Count them to determine more or less
6. Find the biggest and smallest treats
7. Share one with each member of the family (but not the dog)

How can you give your kids artificial additives (dyes, flavorings, etc.) while on a GFCF diet? Dr. Ruth Waring has warmed that this is not good; that success is better on a GFCF diet when the additives are eliminated as well.

We do, most of the time. The feingold diet, especially, eliminates additives and dyes and we stick to that. However, I can’t possibly deny my child Halloween. He so rarely gets a treat that I have to allow it.
