Therapy Shoppe Giveaway, Don’t You Love It?, Winner!

by

Robin! YEAH! Email me with your address!

Yes, its another Giveaway from Therapy Shoppe. I have three
giveaways from Therapy Shoppe today (My Two Boys and A Child Chosen) and an Old Navy giveaway at Kids Bargain Styles…make sure you get to ALL of them!

This week its all about calming, as it is going to be a tough one. With BIG life decisions to be made and the weather NOT turning to fall…we need a few strategies to help us calm down.

New! Self-Calming Cards

AJ has always had trouble calming himself…its something that he never learned how to do. Instead, he revved himself up until he threw fits be cause he was so disorganized, or he stimmed constantly because it calmed him. He would spin wheels in front of his eyes for hours, grind his feet into ours for deep pressure, crash into us all day, verbally stim, stare at lights, etc. Of course, some of those things were due to the yeast in his gut but many of the behaviors were because he did not know how to regulate himself.

This deck of 36 cards features 24 self-calming tools in 6 categories; physical, visual, auditory, creative, self-nurturing, and humor. On the back of the cards there is a picture of the activity and directions for teaching the strategy.

HOW TO WIN:
You know the drill: Just fill in the Mr. Linky below and then link to this contest and Therapy Shoppe! site in a post on your blog before Friday, October 12, 11 PM (CST.) If you don’t have a blog, still enter your name in the Mr. Linky and please email your friends to tell them about the Giveaway, and Therapy Shoppe’s new catalog! Leave a comment here saying you’d like to win! Be sure I can contact you through your blog or email in the Mr. Linky and/or your comment.

Imaginate un almuerzo con la familia o amigos, donde está todo preparado para disfrutar de una buena comida y tu tratando de abrir con los dientes una bolsita de ketchup que se resiste. Sin duda es una imagen poco feliz…
